Farwalkers

Abilities and Equipment

Farwalkers are not strong, but they can move deceptively fast and their touch is electrifying. Different Farwalkers sport different mutations, some of which may have use in battle; tendrils with long spines on the end, 'evil eye's which can petrify their foes in divine fear.  Pervasive to all Farwalkers however, is an innate grasp on Lifeforce and high sum of it themselves, rendering them unusually difficult to kill and vigorous.

Vaguely humanoid, ethereal creatures formed within the Silvermyst, of uncertain progeny and origin. Farwalkers have a spindly, frail look to them, with transparent skin that allows their bizzare and luminous organs be barely visible. Their faces seem as a mass of writhing tendrils with sparks of electricity and light flowing through them, with long flexible fingers with too many joints and unusually long arms. Farwalkers are not purely hostile, but idle curiosity often leads them to pull apart victims to examine them.

It is uncertain if Farwalkers are intelligent; they seem to be innately curious things, wandering through Silvermyst in an odd loping gait remniscent of some of the Abyss's spawn. They will pull things apart to determine what is inside of them, and when threatened respond with blasts of life energy which drain their victims. They emit otherwordly high-pitched squeals and wails, which seem to carry a presence beyond mere sound.

Lifwurm

Abilities and Equipment

The most notable ability of the Lifwurm is their ability to suck the lifeforce of creatures dry, pulling it out as a silvery mist which disappears into their 'face' beneath the tattered cloth 'cowl' that forms their head. They are also surprisingly dangerous in the air, as they have small sharp protrusions from each leg which they can kick with as they summersault in the air.

Owing to the excess of lifeforce within them, Lifwurm's are also supernaturally difficult to kill, seemingly going unscathed even after being pierced by many weapons. Magic is marginally more effective, though it can still take some time to burn through their regenerative abilities. However, constant damage will diminish their capability to float, which seems to rely on gas bladders contained within their body.

Strange many-legged creatures with oddly bulbous, grey-toned bodies, Lifwurm's float upon a cloud of myst which seems to follow them around wherever they go.

Their body shape is vaguely like a centipede, only their 'legs'- if they can be called that- are rotund, stubby things which idly kick at the air as they float, and tiny tendrils that they use to feel everything around them emanate from their bodies. Their faces are draped in a strange cowl-like shape, appearing almost similar to cloth though it is unclear whether it is part of their body or actually clothing.

Lifwurm's are relatively non-hostile creatures, usually drifting aimlessly from place to place, feeling everything around them with the long, slender tendrils that project from their torso.

Despite their relative passivity and odd appearance, Lifwurm's are, as most Mystborn, exceptionally dangerous. They possess the peculiar ability of Lifedrain, able to suck their victims lifeforce into the 'cowl' that forms their face. Some mutations of this ability will devour their victims memories, leaving only a blank husk in their place.

Fortunately, Lifwurm's can usually be safely avoided by simply skirting around them. While they view other creatures curiously, even if their attention is unwittingly drawn they will not necessarily attack. Lifwurm are known to feel unfamiliar creatures with their tendrils. If one were to attack it while it does this, it would certainly retaliate immediately, but if one allows it to sate its curiosity, it is a gamble whether it will lose interest and move on, or suddenly turn hostile.

The grey flesh of the Lifwurm contains a blubbery exterior with sizable gas pockets inside. Their internal anatomy is highly abnormal, relying on these gas bladders both for flotation and air intake. As with most Mystborn, there is no apparent means of reproduction, so it is unknown where Lifwurms originate from.

Meta note: Lifwurm's appearance is based on tardigrades, when it says they're grey and rotund imagine a tardigrade but kinda shaped like a centipede... and floaty.
